If any of you are wondering what is happening on Harborne Lane or why surveyors are often on campus around the playing fields, this might shed some light:

4 lanes down to 2 sounds ominous.

The orange line is existing Bristol Road. The red line is the new road they are building which will run pretty close to the uni playing fields it looks like.

If anyone needs to know anymore about this project, Starley has connections at the council and will be able to set up a meeting with someone for you.

That map looks utterly terrifying. It appears to be sending a new road right through the astroturf changing rooms! I admit they're not exactly listed buildings but people need somewhere to shower!
