Once again it is time for the much anticipated Ogwen trip. For those of you new to the club and whom were on the amazing Stanage trip, Ogwen is a very different trip, with no meanie (thank God!
) and (hopefully) more climbing!
WHEN?: Friday 28th - Sunday 30th October (Meeting at 6pm outside the Munrow)
WHERE?: The beautiful Ogwen valley (north Whales), staying at the MAM's Glan Dena hut
HOW MUCH?: £25 (£15 drivers)
WHAT TO BRING?: Any climbing stuff you may own, warm clothes, good footwear, waterproofs, sleeping bag, food (can stop on the way), Lots of Enthusiasm!
North Whales is definitely the best climbing venue in the world! For those of you new to the world of trad climbing there are plenty of excellent low grade multi-pitch routes in the Ogwen valley, myself and other club members will be more than happy to take you up some of these. For those of you with more experience the neighbouring Llanberis pass is home to many ultra-classic harder routes.
Already I am aware that this trip will be very popular, I have a maximum of only 30 places (23 beds in the hut and 7 camping), so in order to avoid disappointment please pay me as soon as possible. I will be collecting money this Wednesday at Redpoint, and I'm on campus everyday if you can't pay then.

Sorry to anyone who didn't get a place, there was a very high demand! But not to worry the next trip will be Low house (lake district) on the 11th of November.
