I liked the last poll's results and banter, so here's a new one.

F9a, its probably going to be in a nice hot country and i would have climbed a higher grade than you all whilst having no risk of death if i fell....

It's gotta be the 9a, but you'd do it solo cos if you did it it'd be worth at least E10, and the crux probably around V12, so you'd effectivly be doing all three plus i think i'd be a world first.

Incidently dave macloed just soloed 8c, which is a mega effort! And apparently he's just doing that for training.....

E10: there's something about negotiating the when, where and how of gear placement as well as thinking about and doing technical moves and then leaving the rock as it was that makes it feel like actually doing a route as oppose to just climbing (I realise that part of the challenge of doing an E10 is thinking about how there's probably no gear that will save you, but that's all part of it).

Also, if you are used to trad and can shag E10, then you know that you can go anywhere you want in the world and have a go at virtually whatever you want. I think that would be a good position to be in!

E10, for the head that it'd involve as well as the ability.
