We will be running a ropeworks course on the 26th of May at the Roaches. The weekend before Pembroke.

This course is ideal for anyone new to the world of trad climbing and is highly recommended to anyone wanting to start climbing independently. The course is run by Paul Smith who also does the SPA training.

Areas covered:

Abseils
Movement coaching
Anything else you want

Price: £30

The list
LARD-HUNTER
Will
Robin

Sam

We will be meeting at 7:30 outside Tesco express in Selly oak on Saturday. PLEASE BE ON TIME. Bring the stuff you would usually bring for a days climbing.

see you there :D

Unfortunately all the places on the course have been filled. But if you wanted to come to Pembroke you could get loads of climbing done?

Ok, thanks MILF-Hunter. Alas I have exams during the Pembroke period, but would be keen to join any posse climbing informally later in the summer :afro:

I hope that you all had a good yesterday, and managed to get a spot of bouldering / a couple of routes done after I finished working with you. What time did you leave in the end?

I have put a couple of photos up on facebook, feel free to tag yourselves and of course remember to click 'like'. I will have a look and see if the photos that I took while bouldering will produce a time lapse video when I finally get home.

If you have any questions on what we covered, feel free to ask.

Time Lapse video is now up as well. Its not that great as my focus was on something else - you guys. But it is worth a quick view, as it still gives a flavour of what we were doing.

I have a nut key from the red/yellow rack. Unless the gear secs want it back ASAP I'll return it on Friday, if that's alright.
