As I haven't seen a specific post regarding the Alps on the forum I thought I would start one and see if anyone has plans to head out there this summer?

Unfortunately, I just realised the Conville course applications closed yesterday, so if any ones gets any last minute inspiration to go I am afraid you've just missed the best learning opportunity available!!

It is quite likely that Alice and I will be out there for a large chunk of June and July and will predominantly base ourselves in Ailefroide (Ecrins Range), however, it is easy enough to pop up to Chamonix to meet anyone on the Conville course.

I am just trying to gauge who we might bump into whilst we are out there.

Yeh i've applied for late june/early july too. Up for at least a couple of weeks out there. Looking forward to making some definite plans once we hear back about the course.

Yeah I think we're all waiting to hear if and when we'll be on the course to make a decision. maltloaf/MILF-Hunter, I heard you guys have medicine stuff so won't be able to go until late June? I also have something so won't be able to leave until the 25th June. Maybe we can head out together if the dates coincide?
