Hey Paul,

I went to Hampi a few years ago, but unfortunately it was before I got into climbing - so I didn't do any there!

I went in the summer and it was really hot - so it's probably best to shag at dawn/ dusk (although this is when the mozzies come out so take lots of DEET!). There may be some bouldering in the shade (e.g. caves), to do in the day.

Hampi is a really beautiful place - loads of temples, and more boulders than I have ever seen in one place before. Hope you have a great time - I'm very jealous!

I have also been there a few years ago, beautiful!! Some friends recently went to boulder, sounded amazing, but as I didnt shag cant offer much advice on that front.

Lonely planet for directions to get there, not the easiest, about 6 hrs by bus from nearest train station i think. And make sure you stay on the other side of the river away from the town, much more peaceful!

yeah i mean a usb flash drive that has ~1gb capacity (we call it a thumb drive in singapore). if you'r coming to school tomorrow morning meet me at the soak at 10am. or else maybe you can drop it through the slot in my door. im at 52 north road in selly oak, which is the street that starts from the soak.

i didn't know i was famous? oh if you will consider travelling to south china, to yangshuo which i highly recommend i can tell you much more about it because ive been there twice. check out dosage 5 for what the climbing there is like. its mainly long, 25-30m limestone sport routes that all tend to be somewhat overhanging.
