Get ready for SUN, SEA and PSYCHE!

Put down your past-papers, sack off your studying, and get ready to throw down for a week of great climbing, great weather, and even greater company! It's time for our annual SUMMER TRIP!!

What is summer trip you might ask?

We will be spending a week camping in the glorious sun of Cornwall, enjoying some of the best climbing in the country on super atmospheric sea cliffs! There may also have been rumours of the BEST (read: "most type 2") night out that our country has to offer!

When would you manage to fit in all this action-packed fun?

We will be running the trip from the 3rd - 10th June, the perfect way to celebrate the end of a glorious year right?! There is no obligation to stay for the entire duration of the trip, it's likely that we'll have a few leave for grad ball at some point anyway and we'll do our very best to accommodate people leaving early!

How much do I have to pay for the "BEST WEEK OF MY LIFE"?

Current estimates indicate a cost of £45 for the trip (35 for drivers) plus £5 per night that you're camping with us! I know right, all of this for just £45?!

Did someone say ROPEWORKS?!

Are you keen to learn to shag trad?? For the perfect introduction to trad climbing taught by a professional instructor you'll want to sign up to the Ropeworks course! Teaching you everything from safe placements to setting up abseils this is the best way to develop your skills to the next level! The course will cost an extra £40 but is worth every penny! Be warned though, places are limited and we have to give numbers to the instructor on Sunday 7th May so it pays to be fast on signups!

Summer trip tops as well?! This must be the best trip ever!

For the measly price of only £6 you can have your very own Cornwall 2017 summer trip top with the design voted for by you at the AGM! Everyone who's anyone will have one so don't miss out!

Fleece (it can get cold sat around in the evening!)
Towel & Toiletries (the campsite is well equipped!)
Swimwear (We're on the coast, let's make the most!)
Sturdy footware
Sleeping Bag
Roll Mat
Camp Chair (avoid the war for a chair and bring your own!)
Something to cook on (Think about sharing gas/stove)
Any climbing stuff you own (shoes harness helmet etc.)

If you don't have anything on there then please message me and we'll see what we can do for you! (We can lend you any of the climbing gear that you'll need, except shoes but they're not essential!). As with all club trips we'll be stopping at a supermarket on the way to pick up supplies and we'll make the odd trip to re-stock during the week!
