Ok so one of the nicest summer and best trad limestone venues in the peak district, Staden Quarry, is under threat by people who want to build a mineral bottling plant in it. They say it's going to be environmentally friendly but looking at the third link it looks huge, would destroy the climbing there and possible reptile habitatas. They say they're going to build a climbing centre in it but the ambience and quality of climbing in the place would still be destroyed and it doesn't look like there's any climbing in the climbing centre anyway http://planning.highpeak.gov.uk/portal/servlets/AttachmentShowServlet?ImageName=93571.

Anyone who aggrees with me that this should not go ahead you can object to the planning application here. http://planning.highpeak.gov.uk/portal/servlets/ApplicationSearchServlet?PKID=117177

Memories of bicycle repair man flood back MILF-Hunter. That was an epic fall.

Travesty!!

I'm sure they won't. Awesome place to shag.

Awesome place to fall. Apparently. Isn't that right MILF-Hunter? Not that I can complain.

Besides, I've still got so much to do there.
