Not sure this helps but you never know:

I'm coming up from Bristol. I'll be passing Brum about 1430 going M5, M6. I can give up to 2 people lifts on the way up, but maybe not on the way back - but there should be space in the minibus on the way back with all the meany gone by then!

I'll be leaving Sunday morning (no later than 1100) in order to get back to work Sunday evening in Plymouth - going M6, M5, A38.

Change of plan - I'll be head back Sunday evening (M6/M5) to Bristol. Not sailling 'til later in the week now. Can give lifts both ways if needs be.

Tom / Kat - what are your plans, want to get this sorted for a quick and well planed / executed Friday departure.

Ant and Jonny - thanks for the offer. At the moment it is looking like i'll be driving up with Jenny and possibly Carl if he hasn't found any mates by Thursday night (to shag ice with).

p.s. Think 2.30pm will be too early as well - us private sector employees don't work half days! :-(

Lew: Fair one about private sector employees working full days. Still we all choose where we work. ;o)

Can anyone put me up in Brum on Sun night? I've got to be at RAF Brize Norton on the Mon now. Seems a little silly to drive down to Bristol on Sun night to drive back up again Mon morning.

Really, Tom? Offfering out our house?

BTW Jonny, that is of course fine. Tom just needs reminding every so often that he doesn't live there anymore!

Highly Important Point:

The accomodation is not the usual village hall in Coniston, in case people didnt know this. It would therefore be unadvised to drive there and try to sleep there.

We're staying somewere in Keswick apparently, details are presumably on the main UBMC thread.

Also Ant did you get my text message? If not, text me your phone number cos I've got the wrong one. If you did and are just ignoring it then fair enough!

Tom, Andy, Alek (and others!) - Thanks for the accomodation options.

I'm actually not now sure where I'm supposed to be on Mon morning at the moment! But I should know by the time I see you guys. So I'll sort something over the weekend if that's OK.

Will be leaving Bristol about 1400 now, so ETA in this place is about 1900. Will pass Brum about 1530 if people still in need of lifts. (07977 519560)
