The Annual Dinner 2008

Yes thats right, It's that time of year again, when Stoats old and new gather together from all around the country to celebrate the Anniversary of the Club in true UBMC style. And this year we have to celebrate extra hard as it is a pretty momentus occasion....the 75th Anniversary!

What?: The Annual Dinner. A Formal dinner with a climbing weekend in the Lakes thrown in!

When?: 15th - 17th February meet at the munrow at 6 pm

Where?: The Lake District. We will be staying in a parish hall in Bassenthwaite (with more than 1 shower unlike last time) and the dinner is just outside Ambleside

Why?: Because it is quite possibly the best trip of the year!

How much?: £55 (£45 for drivers) - This includes a formal sit down dinner (very posh), disco and dancing afterwards and of course travel and accomodation costs

What do I bring?:
Formal attire eg. Tux/dinner suit for the gentlemen or a dress for Ladies
Sleeping bag
Roll mat for sleeping on (no beds)
Usual climbing gear eg. warm clothes, walking shoes, headtorch, waterproofs, harness, rock boots etc

If you can drive for this, it would be very nice of you to bring your car along for the trip, there is a coach to get us from the accommodation to the dinner, so don't worry about having to drive on saturday night
