To anyone at all -

I actually have some holiday the week starting the 13th, so am up for climbing and lots of it.

I'll hopefully have a car available so don't mind where in the country I end up as long as there's rock nearby.

So anyone up for some daytripping/several days at Glan Dena/having me sleeping on their floor?

Post below or phone me. Every positive answer has innumerable good effects on my mental health, as I'm currently more stressed about the possibility of not climbing enough this holidays than I am about my exams next week.

Here's some bright red words to grab your attention.

According to the forum, this picture is of 'Mr Green:'

I don't think it looks anything like Tom..

Here's a song I wrote using the forum smilies:

If I don't go climbing I get very , [very mad]
If I can't go climbing I get very  , [very sad]
I may get so stressed that I shave off all my :afro: [afro]
Then run around all crazy just like the son of :rambo: . [rambo]

It even rhymes if you substitute in all the names of the smilies [the words in square brackets]

There's a reason I'm not an English student.

As you know Neil, I'm at home but i do have a car and i will be visiting the Peaks (every other day!).
So i'll definately be up for getting out! That goes for anyone else who want to Peak it up before Neil manages to.

Im going to Wimberry today to check out the bouldering, however all you hard core grit thugs should check this place out as there is also cragging to be done there with millions of beautiful starred routes.
(Gareth take note... i think you'd love it!)

Quote from someone on UKC:
"Pure Moorland Gritstone..A Dark Peak crag to rival any gritstone crag in the High Peak; difference being that there ain't no crowds. Chew Valley the hidden gem!"

So..... check it out!

Awsome! Just got back!

Jay kay... you'd love this place for bouldering, in fact everyone would. Absolutely loads to go at and all pretty close. There's so much to do there even a novice like me managed to do 8 or so routes with no spotter, my tiny mat and slight drizzle! And i didnt even go to all the boulders.

It would be perfect on a sunny summers day with a bit of a breeze (to blow away the midges). It was still a bit green today but many of the problems still went.

Love it!.... And the crag above looked pretty impressive (but that would definately have to be saved for perfect conditions, looked more green than the boulders).

Does anyone fancy kinder north/south some time? Its only an hour walk in, but at least you almost certainly won't have to queue for climbs
