Hey guys

Just a general note for anybody who drives on club trips.

The club refunds any money you spend on petrol on the club trips, so you need to keep your receipts and make sure they are VAT receipts! Hand them into me as soon as possible after a trip. Then I can fill in all the paperwork and once its gone through the guild you can have the money direct sent to your bank account (in that case I'll need your account number and sort code) or if you prefer a cheaque that you can pick up from the Guild.

I also need you guys to sign the claimant form as well so ideally you need to hand the receipts to me directly rather than to other committee members who will pass them on to me.

Also the Guild are going to be really taking their time with the next few claims as they are shutting down their finance group for a week so they can be trained in some new software. So if your claim is under £50 I would recommend that you pick it up in petty cash rather than as a cheaque or bank transfer.
