Just a heads up about an event happening in Birmingham at the end of May. Called the Rat Race, its dubbed an "urban adventure race" - and this year is running over two days (Saturday evening and all day Sunday). You can do either section, or all, but its not so cheap.

James and I did the all day event last year and it was a really good laugh. We are doing the Saturday evening event this year and reckon other people should too. It involves running round Birmingham for various checkpoints and challenges. Cost is £35 including a Buff and wicking t-shirt.

You don't have to be good at running for this. Its all very light hearted and you can be as competitive (or lazy) as you wish.
