IT's time to decide what fine ale we shall be sipping from the luxury of our fine hut during the Scotland trip. The taste notes are outlined below (hint: Wildcat=value)

Stag

4.1% ABV

Mahogany coloured with medium to

light body. Challenger and Fuggles

hops are added plentifully giving initial

bitterness which is then balanced by a

caramel finish from the roast malts.

Trade Winds

4.3% ABV

Light golden in colour, with a high

proportion of wheat giving a clean,

fresh taste. The mash blends together

with Perle hops and elderflower

providing a bouquet of fruit and

citrus flavours.

Cairngorm Gold

4.5% ABV

A golden coloured, light bodied

continental style beer. Saaz hops

provide an initial fresh and zesty

flavour with Styrian Goldings providing

late aromas.

Nessie’s Monster Mash

4.1% ABV

Predominently malty but well hopped

giving a satisfying fullness of flavour

with an enjoyable lasting finish. A

glass or two is a must before an

audience with the monster!

Black Gold

4.4% ABV

Multi-award winning beer. A Scottish

stout with a wonderful rich dark

colour. Smooth full bodied with subtle

bitterness giving way to late sweetness

and underlying roast barley hints.

Sheepshaggers Gold

4.5% ABV

The best beer baa none!

An exceptional continental style

beer with good body and refreshing

aftertaste.

Wildcat

5.1% ABV

Deep amber in colour with a complex

malt and fruit flavour and a delicate

bitterness from Challenger and Fuggles

hops. Strong & distinctive.

Choose wisely! :salut:

I went for the Wildcat based on two key factors:

Firstly 5.1% ... :puker: :afro:
Secondly I too have been described as "strong and distinctive" .. Also "fruit flavoured and delicate" but that's not the point

Muchos Psyche !!!

The ABV is the only thing worth noting, gotta have the most alcohol possible in that 11gallon keg!
