ITS HERE! Our 80th Birthday is almost upon us!

Founded in 1932, the club will turn 80 after xmas, and to celebrate we're going to be publishing a journal!

To do this, we want all you creative genius' out there to get involved!

Fancy writing a piece to be published in the journal? LET ME KNOW!

Your piece can be on ANYTHING UBMC/Climbing related - Previous topics to wet your appetite include:

-Crosswords
-Quiz's
-Photos
-Quotes
-Personal achievements (eg first lead, first E1, notable routes etc)
-Incidents...
-Adventures outside the UBMC (eg Alps, font)
-Competitions
-Socials

It would be great to see a mix of pieces from Old Gits and Freshers alike!

Let me know if you would like to write a piece, and what topic it will be on. We are asking for all pieces to be written by the 9th January (This gives you all of xmas to perfect your piece!) so that it can be printed within the first few weeks of next term!

The 'interconnectedness' of everybody in 'mind map' form. That definitely has to be there. The aim is to expand it as far back into the MAM! It's light-hearted fun and certainly journal appropriate!

I very much agree with this. Yes Brewer there is a document, and yes it is amusing but most people don't need to see it, it doesnt need to be on a public forum and also it doesnt need to be mentioned EVERY 5 seconds by someone on the forum.

It was made a good few weeks ago and I thought you would be over it by now, it's not THAT funny
