Yorkshire Climbing Trip: 18th-20th Jan 2008

What: A fantastic weekend trip to Skipton in Yorkshire. A range of grit climbing and limestone routes for the more talented in the beautiful northern countryside.

When: 18th – 20 Jan. 18:00 Departure from Munrow Centre, expected return late Sunday night.

How: Staying in a self catered scout hut with a short drive to the crag each morning.

Cost: £21 (£11 for drivers). Please pay asap. Deadline for payment is wednesday 16th Jan.

Sign Up?: The trip is now full but please do post here if you would like to come in case people drop out.

What Do I Need To Bring:

-Waterproofs
-Warm Clothes
-Rucksack
- Climbing gear
(let me know on the Friday if you need anything in particular – harness, belay plate etc.)
-Sleeping Bag / roll mat
- Head Torch
-Food for 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches and 1 dinner (will stop on the way for food)

I have just noticed that I may need a sleeping bag and a roll mat, but I do have only a sleeping bag... anyone would lend please please?

as i have had already said im happy to be a reserve for this trip in case anyone drops out.

This trip was awesome last year, my car won't be stopping to eat on the way so we'll have to make sure people in mine are alright with that, can't wait!!

How's this for a laugh? Last year I lead HVS on this trip, this year I'm "les incompetant"

If you're in my car, we won't be stopping on the way for food, just going straight there, so eat beforehand or bring something for in the car

Can everyone pack lightly as with 5 ppl in a car its going to be very tight!!

good call! yep, please do take as little as poss. we will be stopping for food so theres no need to take stuff from home unless you dont mind cuddling up to onions.
