After a trip to LLanberris to try highlining I realise I need more of this in my life. Who's got a slackline or longline, how much was it, where did you get it from, and who's up for some sessions now it's light when I finish work.

Mate, did you go with the UK slackers lot? It sounded awesome! I'm well keen to get into highlining, I have set up a couple in the past but not managed to walk any.

I've just bought myself a 100m length of webbing and pulleys, so i'm mega keen for some sessions after my project is in (this thursday). Maybe we should go to the slate quarries this weekend...

Cool

It was a load of guys from York uni and a few guys who were working for maverick slacklines. There was some awesome stuff going down.

Need lots of practice.

So your lines not being used until thursday?

What I saw at the weekend makes me a bit worried about setting up a highline, pretty serious slings, padding material to protect rig, decent mullions, back up rope, steel rings for leash, method to release tension during de-rig.
