AMAZING spelling of caribena there (is this even how you spell that word?!). belay plates are hard to come by in our wee cupboard of gear. but a harness and caribena = no problemos. And you can pick up belay plates for relatively cheap, or why not put it on your letter to Father Christmas?! Yay to the festive season! :rendeer:

If you get one you can pick up a krab with it relatively cheap. Worthwhile getting them as a pair as one is pretty useless without the other.

Ok,
Everyone on scotland you can keep the gear you use in scotland, after scotland if you want, as it will be signed out to you personally.

Those not on scotland, you need to arrange with either me or tessa when you will pick up your gear.
Alice- 07833681234 (I am free most of the time next week)
Tessa- 07969108267 (monday till 3, tuesday till 12, thursday till 12, all day friday)

Basically if you asked for gear you can have what you wanted, but just to clarify-

JK- single rope, bouldering matts
Jack Smith- single rope (we have no 30m but you can have a 45m/50m)
Jake Lodger- single rope (same as for jack)
JCB- bouldering matt
Jack B- rack, single rope
Josh D- Rack
Toodleslou-Harness, Krab if you still need one (you can buy a stitch plate and krab for about £25 in the rock on shop at redpoint, so i would suggest getting one for yourself, we have no stitch plates in the cupboard though)

If anyone has been forgotten post back on here.

Can we please make sure in Scotland we have the longest ropes possible.....i.e. not the massively cut down one(s). And that we generally know the lengths of the ropes we are taking.
Thanks :-)

That would be very useful, was given a 37 metre static rope for abseiling into crags in Pembroke not so long ago, was quite annoying

This should be done by each and every person who uses club gear. Not only are checking what you have is what you expect, but you are also checking it is safe to use and that the person to use it before you has not damaged it and not told anyone.
