Can the committee have front end editing privelidges, and can i have back end editing like i was using before?

I think I have given you the back end privileges...
and I will add the privileges for the committee... but it is not desirable to edit any of the stable articles without telling me first, I am putting some custom formatting in sometimes which might break... (e.g. Activities page)
