Was lots of snow up in the peak yesterday, amazing! Phil threw a snow ball at twigger the size of a beach ball off the top of Stanage! Probably would have knocked him out but instead exploded on a nearby rock!

If anyone is feeling really hardcore I hear there were some good winter routes put up at Millstone last year.....

I am expressing a keen interest in bouldering, if that's ok... Given that it's best for everyone involved if I don't lead things on grit... :-)

I'd be interested in bouldering if there's room. I should be at the banquet tonight.

Not meaning to put a downer on the trip but forecasts for this weekend are not looking great unsurprisingly, looking likely to either be dry, windy and freezing or snowy, windy and freezing.

Just saying there is a potential for this trip to be cancelled but we'll keep you informed of any decisions by text. Otherwise if we go for it and it's a bit shit there's some plan B's ready and waiting. Could go to a more sheltered crag or I heard the Robin Hood inn is quite nice. :)

as far as pads for bouldering goes I have 2 plus i can source another 1 or maybe 2.
I'd like to boulder but obviously if leaders are a necessity then I'm fine with that.
In terms of cancellation will we know before we get there or will we have to drive all the way there first?
