I am already one of the worlds best mincers, so here is my list-

Buy a harness (check- last night)
Lead more, and hopefully lead a decent HVS or even by the summer something beggining with E. (That includes everything and elephant)
Make ABSOLUTELY DOUBLEY SURE that I am in a comfortable position lying on a rock, looking up at Alek Kumar shitting his pants and making plans to cast him into the lake of fire. Make this vice versa- stanage first ever lead shag.
Conquer my fear of Mark Duggan, aka Lord Voldemort. Has has powers we do not know...
Be generally a happy climber, and recruit at least 4 hot new freshers at refreshers fair. (It is not fair that they all got snapped up within 10 seconds of being in the door at stanage. I wouldn t be suprised if Alek and Gadd had ended up kissing each other in their drunken haste to find a fresher.)
Be on committee next year.

So we're about 25% of the way through 2009. How are those goals coming along?

I didn't do goals for last year, so i've given this some thought-

Aims-
By Easter
-Boulder, Boulder, Boulder until Font!!
-Buy new shoes by the end of this week.
-3 x 5 sets pull ups
-Improve open hand strength on shallow holds
-Think about technique, observe others and work out sequences before getting off the ground!
-Stay motivated for UBMC, BUBC final round and BUSA.

By the summer-
-Improve confidence while trad climbing by selecting climbs that play to my strengths.
-Leading confortably outdoors at VS 4c
-Aim to shag a few select HVS routes that are technically within my capability.
-Look at the guidebook before getting to the crag!
-Do more teaching and maintain logbook to work towards SPA-get assessed next year.

By 2012-

-Crush the allied forces and lay siege to the London olympics with my Stormtroopers on a Blitzkreig!
