It's that time of the year again! Time to head off to North Whales for a cheeky bit of sport climbing but most importantly karaoke.

Where: LLANGOLLEN, N. Whales
When: 6 pm Friday 20th - Sunday 22nd (evening) January
Why: To tune our singing voices! and maybe go climbing
How Much: £25

We will be staying in Llangollen Scout Hut, a classic venue with all your needs catered for*.

On Saturday and Sunday we'll be heading out for a lovely range of sport climbing before hitting the pub of Llangollen and spending the evening at one of their famous social events (Friday and Saturday night Karaoke)

You Will Need:

Warm Clothes
Sleeping Bag
Roll Mat
Climbing Shoes, Harness and other equipment
Food and drink for the weekend (I'm sure drivers will stop on the way/in town)
Suitable Footwear

It is an idea to bring a head torch

if anyone else wants to i'd be tempted to drive up to llanymynech on saturday and come to the hut in the evening

Guys, I paid a deposit last week at Redpoint with every intention of going but a couple of things have come up which will make it hard for me to go. Last week I managed to go ice skating and obtain a nasty blister right on the bone under my ankle.. the sort of thing that's going to rub like a painful thing the moment I put on rock shoes. I don't want to open it again, it's taking long enough to heal as it is. Then to add insult to injury I tripped up the stairs in the block of flats up to my house, landed heavily on my thigh and had to hobble to Uni yesterday. Leg did not want to bend. I think it's a sign. To be honest, I still have not written a word for my dissertation. I think everything is telling me that this weekend I need to stay in bed and study

Please give up my place to a a more worthy climber than I.

My My that was a wee bit of an essay!
As I have mentioned to you previously Smithy, I am going to assess the weather situation on saturday morning and then if it looks climbable then I may bring myself and some other kids to come shag for the day and come out in the evening. But this will all be weather dependant
