If you are already experiencing withdrawal symptoms from the lack of outdoor climbing since the last trip, or in pain of having not experienced one of UMBC’s awesome trips yet, then look no further as this trip to the beautiful land of Skipton could be your cure. Where: The Dump; a scout hut in Skipton, North Yorkshire. On the Saturday and Sunday, we will be heading to climbing crags, including Almscliffe, Ilkley (Cow and Calf) or Brimham Rocks. Saturday evening/night UBMC will be reunited with the ‘classy’ STRATA club, which will involve dressing up in fancy dress- think
Disney.
When: From Friday 21st November until Sunday 23rd. We will meet outside the Munrow at 6pm on the Friday.

What to bring!Warm and waterproof clothing
Suitable shoes
Climbing equipment you have (e.g., climbing shows, harness, helmet; though the latter two can be borrowed)
Sleeping bag and ROLL MAT; we will be sleeping on the floor!
Food/drink for the weekend, although we shall be stopping at the supermarket on the way.
Sign up will commence tomorrow at 1pm at Redpoint; places will be filled on a first come first basis, so be quick. Carina
