Who cares about the moon board. Ok so it's a good way to measure improvement, but really, the same 2 square meters of plywood with the same holds every week...

You've blatantly not seen this things magic! It got me from 6b+ to 7b+ in months, in which I spent at least 1/2 of every session on it and didn't get bored once. It results in improvement, doesn't just measure it.

+if you look at the top climbers in the country(/world) at least half of them probably use something similar, not just the boulderers either, dave macleod, tommy caldwell, patxi usobiaga all use them, so there's one of the worlds best sport climbers, tradists, and best big wall climbers all whoring their magic two metres square and beasting as a result.

I'm not going to lie, Creation have some bloody good lead routes up at the moment. Spent 4hours on them. They've just put all the volumes from the old bouldering section onto the main overhang (old back wall). The routes cross other lines now as well, did an epic 20m stamina F7a crossed through the roof on the left and took in the main overhang, which I felt was good for the grade! Impressed!

Also went bouldering at RP yesterday and the routes upstairs at the moment are awesome! And the monster new bridge they've just built between the fin and the new overhang? OMFGOSH. wow

Psyched for climbing at the moment, gutted the weather is shit. Thankfully there is so much stuff indoors to do.

Tempted to go to Idwal slabs tomorrow tho... Rain adds to the enjoyment.
