either that or just take a grill down a spade some tin foil and about 8 bricks can pop a bar-b together with that easier than anything!

are we allowed fires on the site?

Pretty sure we can't have fires on the campsite - but we usually have a 'party' evening on the beach with BBQs 'n all.

I do like the idea of taking bricks and a grill down if we can't squeeze one in a car. Or i wonder if the campsite has a BBQ we could burrow - or we could buy and store there until next year.

The bricks and grill would work good on the beach. Dig a big ass hole in the sand and fill it with charcoal

yup easy as man done it loads of times used to live in NZ didn't I, i got bought up on Bar-b's like that!

can also dig big pit fill with charcoal and rocks until white hot, throw in couple of chickens wrapped in tin foil then cover the pit back with sand

Leave for an hour and you got yourself some nice roast chickens
